Donations To Samartex Hospital - 2009/2010

Samartex Hospital took delivery of a Paediatric Nebulizer, a donation from Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Buah of La Bianca Fisheries, Sakumono Tema.

Ms. Mary Oduro, a worker and a member of local union of Samartex Company also donated a set of Ceiling Fan to the hospital
 
A-Z Pharmacy located in Accra donated a Glucometer to the hospital.
 
Dr. Charles Miezah, Medical Officer In-Charge of the Hospital thanked them on behalf of the Hospital. He noted that there was no government hospital in the district and the only other hospital in the district was a missionary hospital in Asankrangwa.

As a result, Samartex hospital had been pivotal as a health care tool in the district, growing overtime to meet the needs of the ever increasing number of patients especially with the introduction of the NHIS.

There was thus heavy pressure on the few facilities available at the hospital, and expressed the hope that more benevolent individuals and institutions would move to further support the hospital.
